To safely guide visually impaired persons from one destination to another.
There are 3 types of tiles: positional, directional and hazard warning tiles, with each carries different meanings for the visually impaired persons upon tactual contact.
To indicate the change of direction, the locations of junctions and information points (e.g. reception and tactile map).
To indicate the existence of barriers or hazards and require careful movement, e.g. entrance, exit, beginning or end of staircase and ramp.
To indicate the safety route between two positional tiles
